A herd-level analytics suite for a commercial dairy — milk yield, somatic cell count, reproduction and herd health unified for the owner and vet.
The Problem
- Milk records, SCC results and reproductive data lived in separate tools.
- Reproductive inefficiency was invisible until pregnancy rates dropped.
- No clear picture of which cows were profitable vs. costing the herd.
The Approach
- Consolidated milking, lab and reproduction data into a single model.
- Built individual-cow and herd-level KPI views.
- Added reproductive efficiency tracking (calving interval, conception rate).
- Set up SCC alerts to catch mastitis cases earlier.
